When it comes to vineyards for Hubba, I’m pretty selective. I look at how the land is cared for, where the vines are planted, and who is farming them, but honestly, I go mostly on vibe. It is less about the grape varieties and more about the energy of the place and the people behind it. I love exploring the Central Coast through its vineyards and meeting the characters who farm them. I source from organic vineyards and am drawn to sites where there is a genuine respect for the land and a hands-on connection to farming. If it feels right, I trust it. I also love working with unique or lesser-known varieties when I find them. They add another layer of character and curiosity to the wines.
